Everyone’s Welcome
Welcome from First Baptist Church of Bettendorf! We are a congregation of people who have placed their trust for salvation in Jesus alone.
We have made a covenant with each other to journey together as we make our way home to Heaven. Together we are committed to tell others about Jesus. We seek to worship Him and know Him more deeply through our worship services, Bible study and Wednesday night prayer meeting.
Then finally in this covenant we seek to minister to one another and share our lives with each other. FBC Bettendorf’s mission statement reflects this covenant. The mission of FBC Bettendorf is to connect people to Jesus and to each other.
We would love to get to know you, pray with you and help you in any way we can to know Jesus. We invite you to journey with us as we make our way “Home”.
When We Meet
Sunday MorningOur Sunday service starts 10:15 AM and ends at 11:30 AM Here at FBC Bettendorf we enjoy a blended worship service that is inspiring and instrumental in leading us into Bible-based messages that are meaningful and relevant to daily life. |
Sunday eveningOur evening activities are from 4:00PM to 6:00PM. It is called Family Ministry Night! There are classes and opportunities for all ages from nursery through senior adult. Bring your whole family and be a part of one of the small group studies. |
Wednesday night
Prayer meeting meets at 6:00 PM, Iron Sharpens Iron Youth and Young Adult groups meet at 5:30PM
We are located in Bettendorf on Middle Road at the intersection of
Middle and Devils Glenn next door to Arby’s and Whitey’s.
What To Expect
As you enter one of our foyers for the first time, you’ll be greeted by one of our deacons. Feel free to let them know that you are new to First Baptist Church and ask any questions that will help you feel comfortable. Our staff can answer your questions about how to find the Kid’s Ministry, where to find a restroom, and your choices for adult Sunday school classes, youth classes, etc. We want to serve you!
Do you offer anything for my kids?Here at FBC Bettendorf we offer:
Children and youth learn how the Bible fits into their lives, how to talk to God in prayer, and what it means to be a lifelong follower of Jesus. They take the gospel to heart, building a foundation – and often, friendships – that last for the rest of their lives.
Programs are available for all children from Preschool through High School age. See our Children and Student Pages for information.
Any of our greeters would be happy to direct you and your children to the right place. |
What should I wear?At our services, you’ll see people dressed in a wide range of attire from jeans to dress clothes. Please come as you are and dress comfortably.
